Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Anyway, here's a submission from the screen name of "angelique".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Code name: Zeitgeist

Real name: Kassandra Altheim

Occupation: Psychologist (current); human intelligence specialist, CIA directorate of operations; FBI criminologist

Legal status: a citizen of Namibia and the United States. Indicted as a rogue double agent by the federal grand jury in the United States. Convictions overturned by courts, wanted internationally as an outlaw

Birthplace: Keetmanshoop, Namibia

Marital status: single

Known relatives: Fridrich Altheim, deceased, father; Dr. Adimu Altheim, mother; Dr. Michael Altheim, brother; Lucy Altheim, sister; Father Vincent Altheim, OSF, brother

Base of operations: Salem Center, NY; McLean, VA; Arlington, VA

Group Affiliation: Formerly with the CIA and FBI. Unofficially connected to the X-Men, X-Factor, and Excalibur.

History: classified

Height: 5’1’’

Weight: 100 lbs.

Eyes: brown

Hair: brown

Strength level: Zeitgeist possesses the upper limit of strength for a woman in her twenties of her height and build who engages in intensive regular exercise.

Known superhuman powers: Zeitgeist is a mutant who can step out of and control the flow of time relative to her movements. This makes her appear capable of extreme speed, teleportation, bilocation, time travel, and telekinesis. She can also see timelines and distinguish the events within them, which has given the false impression that she’s capable of telepathy and precognition. She can also block telepathy when out of temporal syncronization. Use of her extratemporal abilities had made her extremely ill until she received Wolverine’s accelerated healing through a stem cell transplant.

Abilities: Due to her extensive training as a CIA operative and with various members of the X-Men, Kassandra is skilled in multiple martial arts forms, weapons, and vehicles. She is also a trained expert in computers, explosives, assassination techniques, and human intelligence, and speaks several languages fluently. (German, Afrikaans, and Englishbeing her first languages.)

Hobbies: music, distance running, martial arts (especially Zulu stickfighting, fencing and related European duelist arts, and Krav Maga-perfect for melee fighting, in her opinion)

Personality: Compensates for her shyness and secretiveness with a bizarre sense of humor and well-timed wit. She is a deeply moral person with a strong sense of justice. However, her finer qualities bely an occassional tendency toward violent emotional outbursts, which some people with less than noble intentions have tried to manipulate to their ends. And she always struggles with the fine line between justice and vengeance. There are only three kinds of people she is completely open with-empaths, people who are about to die, and the very few people she can even remotely trust. Her faith is important to her, as she tends to have very little in people, mutant or otherwise.

Relationships: considers Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, Beast, and Wolverine honorary family, and Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde her best friends. In a rare instance of poor judgment, once had a crush on Pyro.

BTW, 'Zeitgeist' in german means 'spirit of the times' or 'time spirit'...just in case you were wondering.

Note: This is not the same submission as was sent to me. I ommited some parts to make it shorter. Please forgive me, Angelique.

Anyway, this is my character in a very big nutshell. I've already written a few stories about her, but could use some help with other ideas I have for her (ie, Apocalypse tries to recruit her to ride for him as War, for one. For another, she doubts her sanity after the Adversary killed theX-Men, yet she sees that their timelines haven't ended. And yet another, in a move that borders on violating an agreement between US and the UK, she goes undercover to spy on Black Air.)

Hey there, hi there, ho there, and welcome back, guys. I've finally got the first submission from a recent acquaintance over at The Superhero Hype! boards, one of the sites I used to publicize this blog: 'Stephanie', who uses the screen name 'Webmistress'.
____________________________________________________________________

Name: Alexia Dark

Alias: Spider-Woman (she wanted 'Black Widow', but it was taken) :p

Age: 20

Hair: Black

Eyes: Blue

Height: 5 feet, 7 inches

Weight: Approx. 120 lb.

Powers: Alexia has the ability to stick to any surface, (usually walls), and can fire organic webbing out of her wrists. As well, she possesses super-strength(can lift/press approx. 10 tons) and agility, which makes her extremely flexable. She also has a 'spider-sense' that warns her of impending danger to herself and those around her. For more info, search for 'Spider-Man' on http://www.marveldirectory.com/ . Anything he can do, she can probably do better.

Personality: Fiesty and strong, yet caring and compassionate. She'll kick your ass without question if you threaten her or people she cares about, but if you're her friend, she will stop at nothing to help you.

History: Alexia was a not-so-typical girl living in L.A. with her working-class mom until she recieved a scholarship to go to Columbia University, and moved to New York. An exotic beauty, she worked as a part time model in L.A., and continued when she moved to New York.

On her first day in NYC, Alexia was on the El-train when Doc Ock and Spider-Man found themselves fighting on top of it. Ock destroyed the breaks, sending the train full-speed toward the end of the tracks, which stopped in the middle of the street. Spider-Man was able to stop it, but not without having his face completely exposed to all of the passengers, including Alexia.

A month after the disaster, Alexia argues with her dorm-mates, and moves out. As a full-time student with a part-time job, all Alexia can afford is a room in a run-down apartment. Lo and behold, this happens to be the same apartment where Peter lives. Right away they recognize each other, and through a series of conversations, eventually become friends.

But during a routine outing, Alexia finds a ticket to a science fair, and on a whim decides to attend. While there, Alexia tries to stop a thief from breaking into the labs of the building. In desperation, he injects her with a large syringe to stop her.

Alexia quickly discovers what the thief had unknowingly given her: the DNA of a Black Widow spider, intended for a project similar to the one the spider Peter had been bitten by. Thus, Alexia was affected in the same way, hence her powers, nearly identical to Peter's. With her knowledge of Peter's identity, and after asking what had caused his life to take the turn that it did, Alexia decides to put her abilities to use, and is inevitably named 'Spider-Woman' by the Daily Bugle.

Notes: Although she says that she does what she does simply 'because she can', Alexia became a super-heroine for more reasons: partially to make things easier for Peter, to whom she is now a good friend, and also because she rather enjoys fighting against injustice, both literally and figuratively.

Alexia tends to leave a little calliong card behind when tying up bad guys for the cops; a regular business card with a picture of a Black Widow spider on it.

She also tends to be a bit Gothic in her choices of clothing. She loves basic black and leather.

Here's how it works: Email me at sammer2z@aol.com with your name and as detailed a description of your character(s) as you can compile ( pictures are always appreciated). Every time I get a chance, I will post your character's description on this main page. And every month or so, I will get together via e-mail with the creators and collaborate with them a story starring the characters.

Rules

  1. Keep your descriptions more or less kid-friendly. By that I mean abiding by the following guidlines:
Spirituality: Nothing that sounds religiously influential.
Sensuality: Romance is okay, but nothing too graphic.
Violence: Again, nothing too graphic. No mutilated corpses or bloody stabbings.
Profanity: only two or three bad words per description(preferably bleeped).
Drug Content: Okay, provided it doesn't praise drugs.
  2. You own the copyright. As soon as you e-mail your description, it all belngs to you. If you think somebody copied your idea after you sent it, notify me and I'll take care of it.

Well, that's about it. I'll have more when the first person posts.
